TIME CONSTRUCTS

A written study of Jeff Desom’s reinterpretation of Hitchcock’s Rear Window using Deleuze, deriving insights into how time perception works in architecture. As part of the study, a method of creating durational images from filmic extracts was invented. In these images, the present is understood not as an instant, but as having width, or duration.
